The dimensional limits for single and double leaf doors depend on the type of profile used, whether EI 30-60-90-120, on the presence or not of panic crossbars and whether they have a transom at handle height (standard) or not. Dimensions refer to the wall opening.
Minimum width for single leaf doors 600 – 800 mm, maximum 1400 – 1450 mm
Minimum width for double leaf doors 1200 – 1400 mm, maximum 2300 – 2550 mm
Heights from 2500 to 2750 for both single and double leaf doors.
The dimensions of fixed fanlights or side panels (complex glazing) go beyond the dimensions mentioned above. For this reason, fixed fanlights or side panels are supplied separately from the opening doors/windows and joined together on site with screws before installation as the problem of the transportability limit by truck also arises.
All our documents, unless otherwise indicated in writing, always refer to the “wall opening” dimensions and the shutters are produced with 5 mm less air per side (excluding floor side). Therefore, for example, a door ordered with a wall opening of mm. 1000 x 2200 will have an external frame dimensions of mm. 990 x 2195, excluding the optional rebate that protrudes to overlap the wall.
