The frames are loaded on metal racks and glasses inserted in wooden crates, both disposable. Materials are wrapped in semi-transparent nylon and all packages have signs indicating the destination and fragility of the materials. It is not possible to load packages one over the other. Different or particular packaging from those described above (for example cases, or fumigated wood) must be requested by the customer during the quotation phase and agreed in detail before placing the order. Please note that sometimes the maximum transportability dimensions of the packaging influence the manufacturing of large complex shutters; in this regard read the “Dimensions” text at the beginning of this section.
It is possible to quote transportation included or ex-works loaded onto truck or container sent by the customer. In the first case, if the delivery is up to the final destination, the customer has to guarantee the accessibility of the truck or container to the place of destination and the presence of unlodading means, excluding restricted traffic zones. If the place of delivery is not the customer’s headquarters and he cannot be present at the time of materials arrival, he must indicate a receiving person and his telephone number before shipping. This person must be informed about the goods acceptance procedure and authorized to sign the transport document.
Upon arrival, the packages should be unloaded from the truck/container with forklift, crane, bands or similar suitable means. In the event of unpacking the goods on the platform of the truck or container and unloading by hand piece by piece under no circumstances complaints for damaged goods will be accepted.
The shutters, glasses and accessories must be stored in guarded rooms and protected from sun and water.
The materials and the presence of all accessories must be checked as prescribed and within the deadline set by Endoors’ sales conditions who will not be responsible for deficiencies beyond the limits set therein.
For the purposes of certification and unless otherwise indicated in writing, the use of the sub frame is not necessary. The shutters can be directly doweled or screwed to the walls/structures with subsequent sealing of the edges. Installation must be carried out by specialized personnel and in compliance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions supplied with the materials. It is imperative to follow them so that the shutters work properly. If they are neglected even trivial errors can occur, for example installing the glass with the wrong side outside, or not loading them correctly in opening leaves, or making incorrect adjustments to the hinges, etc.
