100% Stainless Steel Doors Fire Rated and Multipurpose

Scope

These doors are used for following reasons:

To prevent deterioration due to rust danger in very damp places or areas with a corrosive air like close to the sea or for the use outdoor.
For hygienic reasons in hospitals or in food productions plants.
As fire rated EI2 120 doors when both fire resistance and any of the previous characteristics are desired.
For aesthetic reasons.

Description

Single leaf complete stainless steel doors
Door metallic constructed like the fire rated EI2 120 single leaf DX or SX handed model, supplied assembled with high resistance complete stainless steel frame on 3 sides and lower distance piece to remove after installation, with clamps to bend open, 2 bearing hinges of complete stainless steel, total thickness of leaf 63 mm of double stainless steel sheets type AISI 316 finishing anti fingerprints, core like in the fire rated doors, 2 bolts hinge side, CE marked lock with faceplate of stainless steel with tongue and turns, stainless steel plate and handle on both sides, conformity mark metallic label, sticker with data, booklet for installation use and maintenance.
If the fire rating requirement is also necessary in these doors, it becomes mandatory to install overhead door closers because the hinges are not of self-closing type.

Double leaf complete stainless steel doors
Door metallic constructed like the fire rated EI2 120 double leaf DX or SX handed model, supplied assembled or unassembled depending on dimension with high resistance complete stainless steel frame on 3 sides and lower distance piece to remove after installation, with clamps to bend open, 4 bearing hinges of complete stainless steel, total thickness of leaf 63 mm of double stainless steel sheets type AISI 316 finishing anti fingerprints, core like in the fire rated doors, 2+2 bolts hinge sides, CE marked lock with faceplate of stainless steel with tongue and turns in main leaf and mortise lock with stainless steel faceplate and concealed rods and device for the self-closing at top and floor in secondary leaf, floor socket, stainless steel plate and handle on both sides of main leaf, conformity mark metallic label, sticker with data, booklet for installation use and maintenance.
If the fire rating requirement is also necessary in these doors, it becomes mandatory to install overhead door closers because the hinges are not of self-closing type.

Partial Stainless Steel Doors, With Kit Inox

In alternative to the previous complete stainless steel doors “partial stainless steel doors” are available. In this case the “KIT INOX” is fitted on normal steel doors of the section “HANDED DOORS / Descriptions, fire rated EI2 120 types” with frame and leaf/leaves of galvanized steel and standard painting RAL 9010.
The “KIT INOX” is a set of accessories composed of:
Stainless steel plate and handle for both sides of door.
Stainless steel bearing hinges.
Faceplate of lock of stainless steel.

Dimensions, Orders, Notes

Referring to the drawings above, doors have to be ordered with the dimensions “Lfm nominal x Hfm nominal” rounded to the nearest centimeter, the other dimensions will be consequent.

Specify also opening hands to push (DX = push right, SX = push left).
Maximum dimensions for not fire rated version single leaf Lfm nominal 1300 x 3000 Hfm nominal. Double leaf Lfm nominal 2600(1300+1300) x 3000 Hfm nominal.

If ordered in the version fire rated EI2 120 the dimensions of doors, fixed glazings (if present) and their distance from the edges have to be within those allowed by the correspondent fire resistance certificate. Also the installation of an overhead doorcloser for each leaf is compulsory in the fire rated version because the stainless steel hinges are not of self-closing type. Furthermore, they are not adjustable, installation must be particularly precise and careful.

Optional Accessories

Optional accessories are the same to those listed in the section “HANDED DOORS / Optional accessories” except special RAL paintings.

In case of complete stainless steel doors the glass holding profiles will also be of stainless steel with a surcharge in price.

Louvers of stainless steel are available only in limited sizes and to request.

In case of complete stainless steel doors the dimensions of frame are as per drawings in this section.
In case of partial stainless steel doors the dimensions of frame and encumbrances are as per drawings of the section “HANDED DOORS / Drawings / Encumbrances”
